We can talk a lot about what isn't working in our lives, our frustrations, our irritations and such. Since balance is so important, why not talk about what IS working for our lives, what brings us happiness, the things that we are grateful for and what gives us JOY!
Relishing in the positive can be unfamiliar territory, but with practice, just like anything, it can become easier. So I will go first and then you can think of what brought you joy today, this afternoon, the last hour, or in this moment. Today, for me, it was some really good ice cream (which I savored), the squeal of delight from my daughter (yes! The joy of others can bring us joy too!), and a kind word from a friend.
